BAFICI winners «Court» and «La princesa de Francia» have also been recognized with awards from other organizations.

Festival’s big winner Court, by Indian filmmaker Chaitanya Tamhane, also received the SIGNIS and the FIPRESCI Awards. The SIGNIS special mention went to Ela volta na quinta, by André Novais Olivera. Also, Matías Piñeiro’s La princesa de Francia received a Special Mention from the Federación de Escuelas de Imagen y Sonido de América Latina (FEISAL), which also granted an award to Luis Ortega’s Lulú. The Award for Best Director of Photography from the Asociación de Argentina de Autores de Fotografía Cinematográfica (ADF) went to Martin Gschlacht for his work in Goodnight Mommy (Austria), by Veronika Franz and Severin Fiala. The Asociación de Cronistas Cinematográficos Argentinos (ACCA) Award for Best Film went to La sombra, de Javier Olivera (Argentina); the first mention went to Al centro de la Tierra, by Daniel Rosenfeld (Argentina), and the second mention, to Idilio, by Nicolás Aponte Aragón Gutter (Argentina). And finally the award for Best Editing from the Sociedad Argentina de Editores Audiovisuales and the Asociación Argentina de Editores Audiovisulaes (SAE  EDA) was for Federico Pintos and Ian Kornfeld, for the film Generación Artifical, by Federico Pintos (Argentina).
