Bruno Dumont Francia

He was born in Bailleul, France, in 1958. He was a Philosophy teacher and directed several commercials, short films and documentaries. His first feature-length film was La vida de Jesús (1997); it was followed by Humanite (1999; Grand Prix at Cannes), Twentynine Palms (2002), Flandres (2005; Grand Prix at Cannes), Hadewijch (2009; Bafici ‘10) and Hors Satan (2011; Bafici ‘12).
