Robert is more than 30 and lives obsessed with the idea of breaking a world record, any world record. Then he meets Laura; he follows her, looks for her and starts a strange friendship. He wants to break that record with her.
When you choose one path, you’re discarding the others. For example, Roberto’s path isn’t that interesting: he babysits houses, and reads The Guinness Book of Records, his bedside book. Suddenly, he meets Laura, a young advertising model, and his life becomes impregnated with color. Roberto is half Japanese, half Chinese, a little shy, a little sentimental, and very, very plain. One of his shortcomings is love. Oh, love! Suddenly, Roberto is filled with an obsession. Is this the right way to go? Miss picks up the glove of the “ordinary man in an extraordinary situation” and grows as a kind and unpretentious romantic comedy with no low blows or mockery. A small story about two opposites that, for some twist of fate, attract each other. HP

He was born in Buenos Aires in 1969, and studied social communication and advertisement at the UBA. He directed music videos by Illya Kuryaki & The Valderramas and Juana Molina, among others, and was assistant director in Martín Rejtman’s Rapado.
