After the death of his father, Eduardo Crespo decides to travel in order to make the film he had planned to do with him about the city of Crespo, poultry farming, and the relationship between them. The camera goes through the same places, through collective and personal memory.
Crespo is a city located in the Entre Ríos province, but is also the last name of the person who made this film, which uses unexpected repetitions, chance, and the recurrence of memory as its prime matter and reason to be. The director dedicates the film to the memory of his father, who recently passed away. The images dive into the floating shadows of that man who is suddenly missed, as if his son was auscultating the oscillations of his own pain in order to understand both his father and the things that lived around him: his books, the diverse objects he collected with a strange veneration, his friends, his widow, and the town with the same name as him. Crespo, the film, is a moving piece of filial love and a poetic investigation on the evocating power of images. DO
