Two American go to Israel on vacations, but when they find themselves trapped in a biblical apocalypse, they will have to survive long enough among demons, zombies, and winged creatures to find a way out while the rage from hell is unleashed upon them.
There are films that seek to innovate the parameters of horror movies, delving into questions of theme and style. Others, more confident in their intention of –plainly and simply– being scary, opt to focus on that millennial art of keeping audiences on the edge, shocking them, terrifying them. With elements of The Blair Witch Project, [Rec] and The Descent, JeruZalem is an energetic walk through an imminent Apocalypse to which we enter with the resource of the point-of-view camera by means of the modern glasses of an American tourist. There are three gates to Hell –one of them is in the Old City of Jerusalem. Apart from being an urgency, escaping can be an option for some and a trap for others. The most important question: where do we escape when what’s coming is, literally, Hell on Earth? PC

They graduated from the Tel Aviv Film School and directed music videos and commercials for several years before writing TV shows in Israel. They directed their first film Phobidilia in 2010.
