Free Films Across the City

15 de April de 2016

The Festival begins its run across town with free screenings at Cultural Centers in Nueva Pompeya and Núñez.

[18] BAFICI brings the world’s best independent films to the Cultural Centers spread from south to north across Buenos Aires. The tour begins on Friday with two great films. At 7 PM at CC Homero Manzi, Tilcara 3365 (between Av. Del Barco Centenera and Mom, Nueva Pompeya), there will be a screening of the documentary Favio: Crónica de un director, based on a previously unseen 2009 interview to the great director and singer, featuring the testimonies from his co-workers and family about his life and work. At the same time, on the other end of Buenos Aires, the CC Julio Cortázar (O’Higgins 3050, between Guayra and Oberá, Nuñez) will screen Sagardoa bidegile - Historias de sidra, a documentary about the elaboration, tasting and cultural impact of cider, the traditional drink of the Basque Country.
