He graduated from Universidad del Cine and has worked both in fiction and documentary. He has directed the following features: EL DESCANSO (2001), with Andrés Tambornino and Rodrigo Moreno; BONANZA (2003), SOFACAMA (2006) and EL ETNOGRAFO (2012). He has participated in HISTORIAS BREVES (1995) with the short “DONDE Y COMO OLIVEIRA PERDIO A ACHALA”, and in D-HUMANOS (2011) with the documentary short “LA PASARELA”. Since 2007, he has written and directed fiction and documentary TV series: 9 MM, Pequeños Universos, Pueblos Originarios, etc. He received a grant from Cannes Film Festival to participate in the Résidence de la Cinefondation and from the Amiens Festival. Also, he has been a grant recipient of Fundación Antorchas, Rockefeller Foundation and Fondo Nacional de las Artes. In 2013 he received the following awards in the country: TUCUMAN CINE Award for Best Film, MENDOC Documentary Award, ARGENTORES: Documentary Screenplay 2012, PREMIOS NACIONALES 2009/12: Feature Screenplay (2nd prize), CONDOR DE PLATA Documentary Award 2012.
