He is an Argentine director who also writes and produces. He lives in Buenos Aires, teaches film directing at Universidad del Cine and regularly works as a script adviser. He is a co-founder and writer of Revista de Cine. He has won numerous international awards including an Alfred Bauer for artistic innovation at the Berlin Film Festival and the NHK Sundance for best screenplay. This year, he is finishing his latest work titled Documentación de una ciudad de provincia. His previous films include Réimon, Un mundo misterioso, El Custodio, El Descanso and Mala época.
