Bego Zubia Gallastegi

She has made a career as a press and television journalist. She currently directs the scientific dissemination program Teknopolis (Elhuyar-ETB), and has directed many mid-length documentaries for television, such as Viaje a la prehistoria (2013) and Tras el hierro antiguo (2014).


Belina Zavadisca

Born in Tucumán, Argentina, in 1985, she studied film, video and television at the UTN and the FUC, and worked as screenwriter for Conicet, Paka Paka and Tecnópolis TV. She also worked as creative writer of Telefe’s Department of Ideas and Development. She co-directed the feature Tapalín, la película (Bafici ‘14).


Benjamin Dickinson

He made his directorial debut with the feature First Winter (2012), and then directed the short Super Sleuths (2014).


Benoit Jacquot

He was born in Paris in 1947. He directed twenty feature-length films, including four collaborations with actress Isabelle Huppert, as well as Villa Amalia (2009; Bafici ‘15) and Farewell, My Queen (2012).


Benoît Philippon

He was born in France, and directed the film Lullaby for Pi (2010).

Bernard MacMahon

He was born in London and has directed music videos for Garbage and the Go-Betweens. He wrote articles for the Sunday Times and British magazine The New Stateman.


Bob Byington

He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA in 1971. He directed several films, including RSO (2008) and Harmony and Me (2009) and 7 Chinese Brothers (2014), screened at this edition of Bafici. He currently lives in Austin, Texas.  

Brad Bird

He was born in Montana in 1957. In 1989, he helped developing The Simpsons, and worked in the show as an executive consultant. He directed several animated films, including The Incredibles (2005) and Ratatouille (2007), as well as live action ones such as Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (2011) and Tomorrowland (2015).


Burnin Percebes

Better known for their pseudonym, Juan González and Fernando Martínez created the animated web series Ventura Time (2013).
