In the year commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Tadeusz Kantor, FIBA joins the celebration of the life and work of the great Polish artist with various activities, jointly with the Embassy of Poland in Buenos Aires. This is a very special year for the Polish theatre scene since Kantor’s anniversary coincides with the 250th anniversary of the debut of the National Theatre Company, founded by King Stanisław Poniatowski in Warsaw. For this reason, 2015 was declared the Year of Theatre in that country.
