A documentary about one of the unfairly forgotten pioneers of Argentine rock music: Roque Narvaja, who back when the Sixties turned into the Seventies went from being the author of beat hits in the years of La Joven Guardia to become a solo artist of exquisite compositions and a socially committed stand, with one foot on Third World priests and the other on the link between Peronism and Chistianity. Exiled in Spain, Narvaja played with Marian Farías Gómez and wrote Miguel Ríos’ hit “Santa Lucía”, which opened up a huge career for him in the Spanish Pennsula. This is the moving portrait of his story, featuring him as he walks through record stores, watches guitars, chats with his old mate Enrique Masllorens, and sets up a concert. There are testimonies by Litto Nebbia, Marian, Miguel Cantilo, Jorge Durietz and specialists such as Mario Antonelli, Alfredo Rosso and Claudio Kleiman. The perfect epilogue features his little-known passion for piloting airplanes. MFB
