Meanwhile, Nadie especial (2013) raises a quechua-speaking voice and laments the new generation’s detachment from rural and Andean life. The uprooting contradicts the identity, and causes its disappearance. Although beautiful, Nadie especial is a hopeless film that cries. And makes us cry too.
