Born on March 12, 1967, Panozzo is a journalist, critic and editor.
He started as a film and music critic in the youth supplements of Sur and Página 12 newspapers. He has been editor of the “Sí!” supplement and editor-in-chief of the Entertainment section of Clarín newspaper, as well as held a position as sub-editor of “ADN Cultura” (cultural section of La Nación newspaper) and as editorial head of the Entertainment section of Crítica de la Argentina newspaper.
Moreover, Panozzo has worked for the magazines Rolling Stone, La Mano, El Amante-cine, d-mode, Remix, Ego, XXIII and TXT, as an editorial assistant. Also, he was editor of the Gijon International Film Festival’s newspaper, from Spain. On radio and television, he has worked as a columnist for FM Spika, FM Rock and Pop, Radio Uno and on the TV shows El Amante-Cine, on Canal (á), and Duro de almorzar, on Canal 13. Apart from his journalistic work, he has been serving as an editor at publishing company Penguin Random House for the past six years.
In addition to writing film scripts, Panozzo previously worked for the Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival (BAFICI) as a programmer and editor-in-chief: he was part of the programming teams directed by Quintín and Sergio Wolf, edited several issues of Sin Aliento newspaper, and collaborated on several books published by the Festival.
